- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 1/4 teaspoons 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm milk 110°F
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
- 4 cloves roasted garlic mashed
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese optional
Activate the Yeast – In a small bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
Prepare the Dough – In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, and olive oil. Pour in the activated yeast mixture and mix until a dough forms.
Knead and Rise – Knead the dough on a floured surface for 8–10 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Prepare the Garlic Butter – In a small bowl, mix melted butter, mashed roasted garlic, rosemary, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
Shape the Dough – Punch down the dough and divide into small balls (about 1 1/2 inches each). Dip each ball into the garlic butter mixture and place them into a greased loaf pan.
Final Rise – Cover and let the dough rise again for 30 minutes.
Bake – Preheat oven to 350°F. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve – Let cool slightly, then enjoy warm!
