- 1 lb ground beef
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tsp fresh ginger grated
- 1/4 cup soy sauce low sodium preferred
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes adjust to taste
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 green onions chopped (for garnish)
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds optional, for garnish
- 2 cups cooked rice white, brown, or cauliflower
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks. Drain any excess fat if necessary.
Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet, cooking for about 1 minute until fragrant.
