Cook Time 15 minutes
Total Time 25 minutes
Servings 4

Ingredients

  • 4 6-ounce salmon fillets, skin-on or skinless
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional garnish: chopped parsley or sesame seeds

Instructions

  • Prepare the marinade: In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, and minced garlic. Set aside.
  • Season the salmon: Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel. Sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper on both sides.
  • Sear the salmon: Heat olive oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add the salmon fillets, skin-side down if applicable, and cook for 3-4 minutes until the skin is crispy and the salmon is golden.
  • Add the glaze: Reduce the heat to medium-low. Pour the honey glaze over the salmon, using a spoon to baste the fillets. Continue cooking for 3-5 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  • Serve: Remove the salmon from the skillet and drizzle with the remaining glaze. Garnish with parsley or sesame seeds if desired. Serve immediately.
