- 1 32 oz bag frozen beef meatballs
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 packet brown gravy mix
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 small onion thinly sliced (optional)
- 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms optional
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch + 2 tablespoons water for thickening
Prepare the Sauce – In a mixing bowl, whisk together the beef broth, brown gravy mix, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
Add to Slow Cooker – Place the frozen meatballs into the slow cooker and pour the sauce over the top. Add sliced onions and mushrooms if using.
Cook – Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or high for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally.
Thicken the Gravy – In the last 30 minutes, mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl, then stir it into the slow cooker. Allow the sauce to thicken while continuing to cook.
