Instructions
Prepare the ChickenSeason the chicken thighs or breasts with a pinch of salt and pepper on both sides.
Cook the ChickenHeat the olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the chicken and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove the chicken and set aside.
Thicken the Sauce (Optional)If you prefer a thicker sauce, dissolve the cornstarch in 2 tablespoons of water and stir it into the sauce. Allow it to simmer for another 1-2 minutes until thickened.
Combine and ServeReturn the cooked chicken to the skillet, coating it in the sauce. Let it simmer for 1-2 minutes to absorb the flavors. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions if desired. Serve hot with rice or steamed vegetables.
