  • 12 oz bowtie pasta farfalle
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup heavy cream optional for extra creaminess

Instructions

  • Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the bowtie pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  • Brown the Beef: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned. Drain excess grease if needed.
  • Make the Garlic Butter Sauce: Add the butter to the skillet and melt it. Stir in the minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Combine Everything: Reduce heat to low. Add the drained pasta to the skillet and toss it with the beef and garlic butter sauce. Stir in the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses, mixing until melted. If using, pour in the heavy cream for extra creaminess.
