- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder optional
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese or your preferred cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted
- 2 large eggs
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, and black pepper.
Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and grated Parmesan, making sure they are evenly distributed in the flour mixture.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, melted butter, and eggs until well combined.
Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined. Do not overmix.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Let the bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack. Slice and enjoy!
