- 4 salmon fillets about 6 oz each
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Season the Salmon – Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Sprinkle both sides evenly with Cajun seasoning and a pinch of salt and pepper.
Sear the Salmon – Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down and cook for about 3-4 minutes until crispy. Flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Remove and set aside.
Make the Honey Butter Sauce – Reduce the heat to medium-low. Add butter, honey, lemon juice, minced garlic, and smoked paprika to the pan. Stir until melted and well combined.
Coat and Serve – Return the salmon to the pan and spoon the sauce over the fillets. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until the salmon is fully cooked through. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
